Guitars The finest guitar that I have ever seen was a Martin 00018 made around 1925. It had a 12 fret neck and a wonderful Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The tone, clarity and character of this instrument was unsurpassed and I have never seen a modern instrument that has come close to it. So, this is the type of guitar that really interests me. I make two styles based around the smaller Martin body size formats 00, and 000. Either body size is available as a 12 or 14 fret neck and both are built with the traditional heavily scalloped bracing design. The sound of these guitars is focussed and refined with character, balance and clarity with rich depth and ringing overtones. Standard specification
