Hand Made Guitars

Whereas my Mandolin family instruments are designed with projection as an important part of the design criteria, the Guitars I make are designed primarily with character and presence in mind.

I make two styles, based around a small body format, 000 or 00 equivalent size which can have either a 12 or 14 fret neck. I also make a tenor Guitar version.

Back and sides - Indian rosewood
Neck - Brazilian mahogany
Fingerboard - ebony
Bridge – ebony
Saddle & nut - bone
Machine heads - gold-plated Gotoh
Tailpiece - solid brass
Adjustable truss rod
