Large Body Octave Mandolin

A popular variation of the LBB is the Large Body Octave Mandolin (LBOM) and like the SBOM, it has a slightly shorter scale length of 580mm. The left hand stretches are therefore a wee bit easier, making this an ideal instrument for melody and rhythm playing. The LBOM retains the fuller tonal characteristics of the LBB making this variation great for accompaniment, melody or session rhythm playing.
